The owner of 1st Gear was polite and helpful. He even picked me up at the station because I had travelled some distance to view the car. His premises was clean and tidy there were several other cars for sale. He said he sold a lot of low mileage ones. The car I chose to buy was exactly as advertised and had a full service history. The owner handled the purchase details effeciently and kept me informed every step of the way including the necessary licencing requirements. These he managed to organise for me online. I had spoken to my motor insurance company in advance and after confirmation from them I drove my new car away a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend 1st Gear.

The seller opened a little later to allow a midweek test drive which was very handy. The seller was pleasant, knowledgable and I felt confident buying from them based on how the guy spoke about cars.

Bought a car short notice and sent a mechanic and true to there word nothing wrong with car just usual wear and tear so I'm very pleased with my car they even helped me with taxing my car and give me half a tank of petrol to get back home!!! They are very trustworthy hounset dealers which is hard to find in the car business but I highly recommend them!! Top fellas I will be buying again from them in the future thanks

I bought a new second-hand car with 1st Gear Motors. Faz was so helpful, sending a video of the car and answering questions over the phone. On the day of buying the car, the experience was easy Faz went above and beyond. Love the car, it was in condition as described. Definitely recommend this garage.

Usual questionable 2nd hand car garage .Promises the world to get the sale then only does half of what’s agreed . Promised a full service and some issues fixed before we picked up the car .Got home no washer fluid , old oil , coolant was brown sludge , AC doesn’t work .Rang them to ask what’s gone on got told no one in the uk uses AC , oils not black so they won’t change that and they don’t check coolant on a service . Offered to replace the “water” but by this point didn’t trust the work . Had a full service at another garage the system needed a full flush not just replacement coolant ,the car had various little issues that will need looking at in the next few months . Have done less than 100miles and has cost extra few hundred pounds

I would highly recommend 1st Gear Motors!!!I bought my first car from them just over 3 weeks ago. Now I am driving it daily and its running fantastic.I spoke to Faz who was very helpful, as well as Shaheen. They did a fresh MOT and helped me sort out my vehicle tax.On the day of me receiving my car, Faz noticed a slight issue with the brake pads. The service was faultless and very friendly,every question I had was honestly answered.They organised home delivery and the gentleman who delivered explained all the details and paperwork,making sure we where happy with the car before leaving.The young man at 1st Gear Motors,North East even organised the car tax for us,I would reccomend them to anyone.
